Megre organizó una expedición para encontrar este árbol en la Siberia central y comprobar si era cierto lo que decía el anciano. Pero su encuentro con los ancianos de la región y con Anastasia, la joven chamán protagonista de los libros, lo transformó tan profundamente que decidió abandonar su actividad comercial y profesional, y sin dinero, se fue a Moscú a escribir un libro basado en los hechos reales sobre lo que había aprendido y la visión espiritual que había alcanzado.

This policy of remaking the world in America’s image is supposed to protect human rights, promote peace, and make the world safe for democracy. But this is not what has happened. Instead, the United States has ended up as a highly militarized state fighting wars that undermine peace, harm human rights, and threaten liberal values at home. Mearsheimer tells us why this has happened.
